Message from the Safe and Healthy Homewood Coalition

Today is CASA (The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse) Family Day. This is a national movement to celebrate parental engagement as an effective tool to help keep kids substance free. A family dinner is an excellent opportunity to communicate with your kids and to really listen to what’s on their minds. Youth who have frequent family dinners are less likely to smoke, drink, abuse prescription drugs, and use illicit drugs. Open House Tomorrow Night

HMS Open House is tomorrow night, August 30th, at 6p. Students should be bringing home schedules they completed in class today so parents will know where to go. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night!
