It's time for the 2017-18 HMS Peer Helper Application and Selection Process!
Are you a leader with a "C" or above in all of your classes? Do you have a clean discipline record and good attendance? Do you enjoy community service and helping others? If you answered "yes" to all of these questions, then you might want to consider applying to be a 2017-18 HMS Peer Helper! Current 6th and 7th grade students who meet the academic, discipline, and attendance requirements are eligible to apply. 2017-2018 Application and Selection Timeline:
February 8th — Application packets available (from Mrs. Baldwin, Mrs. Alexander, or the main office) February 24th — Applications due to Mrs. Baldwin or the main office (by 3:15 p.m.) March 13th-March 17th — Interviews for selected applicants (during the school day) April 7th — Selections posted on the HMS Counselors’ Blog (by 4 p.m.) April 18th — Orientation meeting for 2017-2018 Peer Helpers (7:20 a.m.) August 1st — Mandatory Training (all day)
